Goodwill of the Heartland is hiring a part-time Career Services Advisor for the Keokuk Career Center. The role requires an associate’s degree or two years of college study, plus one year in related fields such as recruiting, supervisory, or training.

The position supports career planning, resume writing, and skill development for community members. You will help with job search activities, computer skills, and interview preparation while building partnerships with local businesses and schools to

• Associate's degree or two years of college coursework completed.
• One year of related work experience in recruiting, supervisory, or training; an additional year may substitute.
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Successful completion of background checks (motor vehicle, child/elder dependent abuse, sex offender registry).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams/Zoom, and general computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist community members with career planning and certification training.
• Support job seekers in basic job search activities and resume writing.
• Lead skill workshops and interview skills training.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with area businesses, organizations, and schools to promote Goodwill resources.
