Job summary

Lehigh Carbon Community College is seeking a Career Specialist to support students in career exploration, competency development, and job search across campus and satellite sites. The role requires travel and some evening hours, reporting to the Director of Career Development and Civic Engagement.

The ideal candidate will coordinate the First Destination Survey, assist with operations, manage ePortfolio activities, and collaborate with faculty and staff to promote career readiness and student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Act 153 Clearances required (Act 34, Act 151, Act 114 FBI fingerprinting).
• Two years of direct experience in career development or HR/recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the full cycle of the First Destination Survey per NACE standards.
• Assist the Director of Career Development with daily operations and initiatives.
• Process department requisitions, POs, and purchasing docs.
• Promote student career readiness through services at main campus and locations.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student exploration and goals.
• Support résumé/cover letters, interviewing skills, and job-search strategies for students.
