Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive, energetic attitude towards residents.
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing and walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal background clear.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and oral care.
• Engage with residents to provide compassionate companionship and support.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment and support team collaboration.
