Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital seeks a Part-Time Care Assistant/Unit Coordinator to support the nursing team and families in the inpatient unit. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and administrative tasks under RN supervision in a pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA or EMT/Paramedic license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1–3 years clerical or customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing and nutrition.
• Performs vital signs and records results in the EHR per policy.
• Communicates patient changes to the RN and supports the care team.
• Maintains clean, organized patient rooms and supplies.
• Greets patients and families and provides compassionate, family-centered care.
