Job summary

The Coast Community College District is accepting applications for Student Assistant positions for the academic year 2026 - 2027. There are three levels available: Student Assistant I requires minimal experience, II requires some knowledge or education, and III requires specialized skills and two years of experience.

Applicants must be current students at least part-time with enrollment in six units at any of the three colleges within the District. Positions are part-time, with attendance being an essential job function. Work hours cannot exceed 19.5 per week during the semesters.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with little or no prior experience required.
• Intermediate level requires some previous knowledge or experience.
• Advanced level requires prior experience and specialized skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine and standardized duties under supervision.
• Work independently on varied and less routine tasks.
• Direct work of lower-level student employees if at advanced level.
