Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify access, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, systems, and alarms; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and requests calmly and professionally; contact campus resources or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence at the post and support a respectful environment.
