Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA. You will monitor campus areas, deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/location.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned academic, administrative, residential, and perimeter areas; report concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management per site policies.
• Communicate professionally with campus stakeholders and document incidents and security activities.
