Qualifications

• One year of college training in Criminal Justice or related field plus one year security experience.
• Six months experience as watchman/guard or related security position.
• Equivalent mix of training and experience may substitute for the above.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to County buildings and property.
• Maintains order and removes disorderly persons when needed.
• Inspects packages and parcels entering or leaving buildings.
• Summons authorities to apprehend visitors suspected of crimes.
• Checks time clocks and controls traffic and parking.
