Job summary

Allied Universal in Cary, NC is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Customer Care Patrol to serve and safeguard clients across government and other sectors. This unarmed role emphasizes a visible presence and flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles may apply where required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check and drug screening as per policy.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify hazards and report concerns.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures while coordinating with leadership.
Monitor access points, assist visitor management, and report concerns to designated personnel.
Prepare clear reports and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and supervision.
