Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled at Oakton College in at least six credit hours during Fall and Spring semesters.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Minimum GPA of 2.0 or first semester enrolled at Oakton.
Excellent in-person and telephone customer service and communication skills.
Good organizational skills, general computer skills, attention to detail and multitask abilities.
General office skills such as typing, filing and operating office machines.

Responsibilities

Greets students and delivers general information (CM, PF).
Assist students with accessing their financial aid records and information (CM, PF).
Make and answer phone calls on behalf of the office (CM).
Office support and record maintenance (scanning/filing, copying) (TC).
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of paperwork containing personal or academic information (PF).
Communicate with staff and supervisor regarding any challenges or issues and collaborate on resolutions (CT, TW).
Complete other projects as assigned by the supervisor and staff (PF, TW).
