Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 3–4 hours.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle and prepare meat products in a commercial kitchen.
• Compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements including taking out jewelry and wearing a hairnet.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pan entrees, cold foods and accompaniments for concept according to recipes and reports.
• Slices and weighs meats and cheeses, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Prepares foods to meet all meal deadlines.
• Use of the following equipment meat slicer, food processor, ovens, fryers, food scales, calculator, can opener, and hand blender.
• Provides exceptional customer service to our guests.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment according to UND’s policies and procedures.
