Job summary

Tarrant County College is seeking a Career Advisor to support students at South Campus in the SO Student Success & Advising department. This part-time role (up to 19.5 hours/week) requires flexible hours during fall and spring with some evenings and Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of relevant work experience.
• CAEL or NCDA certification (CCC/CMCS/CCSP/CCSCC/CSCDA) preferred or required in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide advising to assigned students from entry to completion and assist with career planning.
• Create degree plans for core, major, and transfer students and support career strategies.
• Communicate with students, partners, and stakeholders via email, phone, text, chat, and in person.
