Tarrant County College is seeking an Academic Advisor on a part-time basis to support student success by engaging with students through non-scheduled times and referrals to Career Advisors when needed.
The role focuses on advising from entry to completion, assisting with transcripts, degree plans, and coordinating with faculty and staff to enhance student outcomes. This is a PT role with a maximum of 19.5 hours per week.

This is a part time position that would require flexibility to assist the office during the hours above.

Job Summary: This role is a transitional role with the expectation that new hires successfully obtain certification and move into the Career Advisor role within one year of hire. This role is responsible for supporting advising strategies for students from entry to completion by engaging with students through non-scheduled appointment times (i.e., virtual chat, walk-ins, quick-advise) while referring students who need more in-depth support to their assigned Career Advisor, as outlined in the case management model.
