Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service or customer service experience.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and campus dining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and take accurate orders with responsive service.
• Operate POS, handle cash, campus accounts and meal-plan transactions.
• Prepare and portion menu items following recipes and standards.
• Support meal service for residents, verify meal plan use, and maintain service records.
• Communicate ingredients and allergens accurately using approved resources.
• Stock, label, rotate inventory, and monitor shortages or waste.
• Maintain food temperatures and complete safety and sanitation records.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment; follow opening/closing procedures.
• Safely use kitchen equipment and report any equipment problems promptly.
• Assist with catering, deliveries, and other campus food-service needs.
• Adhere to policies and contribute to an inclusive workplace.
