Job summary

CENTERS, LLC seeks Part-time Ambassadors to support Operations Managers at the Bloomberg Student Center on Johns Hopkins University's Homewood Campus in Baltimore. You will supervise, assist guests, and help enforce policies while ensuring safety and service excellence.

Ideal candidates are enrolled students at Johns Hopkins or those with prior customer service experience. This on-site role offers flexible hours and opportunities to engage with campus events and facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled Johns Hopkins University student preferred.
• Previous work experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service, fitness center, retail or events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on‑shift supervision of and feedback to part‑time staff for performance coaching and work assignment
• Perform routine facility rounds throughout shift for supervision of student staff, troubleshooting and maintaining cleanliness of the equipment and facility
• Support the respond to all medical and non‑medical emergencies and provide care; initiate emergency action plan, notify university and local authorities and complete reports
• Assist part‑time staff with tasks and assume responsibilities of an area if not staffed
• Communicate and consistently enforce policies with patrons and staff
• Provide excellent customer service, facility tours, and resolve guest concerns
• Report injuries, incidents, member and guest issues maintenance issues, and staff issues
