Job summary

Maricopa County Community College District's Rio Salado Cafe is hiring a Part Time Food Services Assistant (Temp Level 1) to serve students, staff and the local community with high-quality meals.

The role is part-time, temporary, with shifts mainly weekdays, up to 19.5 hours per week, and an hourly rate of $16.00–$18.00 DOE. Candidates should have teamwork, customer service, and food and beverage experience, and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Team player and able to work independently.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in a food and beverage setting.

Responsibilities

• 40% - Prepares food for breakfast, lunch and catering services.
• 20% - Provides excellent customer service while serving food in the cafe and for catering
• 20% - Cleans and ensures health department standards are exceeded
• 10% - Completes daily prep lists, health department temperature charts and other back of house tracking forms
• 10% - Assists with delivery and pick-up of on-site catering events. Performs other duties as assigned.
