Job summary

Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort in Jensen Beach, FL, is seeking a Café Attendant/Prep Cook to join our food and beverage team. This role supports the employee cafe, assists with prep, and ensures a clean, inviting service area.

The ideal candidate is reliable, able to multitask, and committed to safety and sanitation standards. High school diploma is preferred, with previous kitchen experience a plus; weekend availability is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred.
• Post-offer background checks including motor vehicle and criminal checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist in preparing the Employee Cafe area.
• Demonstrate multi-tasking and maintain cleanliness of the cafe.
• Work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Complete side work and ensure the Employee Cafe is spotless and inviting.
• Handle knives safely and follow all safety policies.
• Adhere to sanitation policies and professional appearance.

Essential Functions:

• Greet employees as you ready the EMPLOYEE break room / Cafe
• Ability to multi Task.
• Willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays
• Complete all side work and clean and prepare our Employee Cafe to be spotless and inviting.
• Knife Handling skills.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage;
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance
• Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work, and clocking in only after being in full uniform

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience a plus
