Job summary

Waubonsee Community College invites applications for Adjunct Faculty- Computer Aided Design: Civil 3D at the Sugar Grove Campus. The instructor will teach CAD131: Civil Engineering using Civil3D in various delivery modes while preparing syllabi, assessments, and student evaluations.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or an associate degree with 4000 hours of experience) and have Microstation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or associate degree and 4000 hours of work-related experience.
• Must have experience working with Microstation software.

Responsibilities

• Designing syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet the course description and outcomes.
• Meeting all college deadlines for attendance, grades, and data collection for assessment of student learning.
• Incorporating learning-centered principles and motivating students to participate.
• Integrating instructional technology to deliver and enhance learning.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to serve students and the community.
• Modeling professionalism with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Associate degree and 4000 hours of work-related experience
