Job summary

The College of Lake County (CLC) invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the CAD program at the Grayslake campus. The successful candidate will teach CAD courses, with emphasis on Revit and/or Civil 3D, and will develop syllabi and assessments for evening classes.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, following college policies, maintaining current course content, and providing timely feedback to students while meeting required deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate in Applied Science in CAD or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
• Five+ years (10,000 hours) of recent CAD design experience using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Revit.
• Five+ years of experience teaching CAD content at secondary or post-secondary level.

Responsibilities

• Teach CAD courses, develop syllabi, and evaluate students.
• Deliver courses in the evening at the Grayslake campus and follow department policies.
• Attend adjunct meetings and participate in college governance as required.
• Maintain curriculum outlines, objectives, and course materials with current content.
• Record grades electronically and support student learning outcomes.
