Job summary

Fairfax County Government is seeking a Business Analyst (Management Analyst II) to lead the Recreation Management system replacement project in Fairfax, VA. The role coordinates the RFP process, vendor selection, and the full implementation with county staff and the vendor.

Under supervision, you will develop schedules, define tasks, and create documentation to ensure deadlines are met. Strong communication across business and technical teams and post‑implementation support are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned functional area, plus two years of professional work experience.
• Experience supporting IT or business systems implementation projects.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines, meetings, and deliverables.
• Organize and document the implementation of the Recreation Management system.
• Facilitate communication across business units and technical teams.
• Support testing activities.
• Help ensure a smooth cutover and post‑implementation transition.
• All other duties as assigned.
