Fairfax County Government is seeking a Business Analyst (Management Analyst II) to lead the Recreation Management system replacement project in Fairfax, VA. The role coordinates the RFP process, vendor selection, and the full implementation with county staff and the vendor.
Under supervision, you will develop schedules, define tasks, and create documentation to ensure deadlines are met. Strong communication across business and technical teams and post‑implementation support are essential.

Hours: This is a year-round part-time position averaging 30 hours per week.

Join the Park Authority and our nationally recognized team of professionals! The Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA) is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to be a part of one of the most highly-regarded park systems in the country. Under supervision of the Revenue Applications Manager, acts as overall project coordinator for the Recreation Management system replacement, including coordinating the full RFP process, vendor selection, business process review and software implementation. Coordinates overall project team including developing and managing all internal schedules, defining and assigning tasks, developing and ensuring FCPA meets deadlines/timelines relating to system implementation. Sets up and creates documentation for all RFP and implementation needs. Acts as project coordinator for implementation of new system, working closely with vendor, internal FCPA staff, and County staff on all aspects of implementation.

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in the field related to the assigned functional area; plus two years of professional work experience within the functional area.
