Job summary

OATS in Chillicothe, MO is seeking a part-time driver to transport riders and ensure safety across routes. The role requires assisting riders on and off the bus, securing mobility devices, and keeping the vehicle clean.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and use the in-vehicle tablet to receive trip information and record times. The position is non-exempt, hourly, and qualifies for benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Class E or CDL license required with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must take and pass drug screening and undergo random testing.
• Bondable.
• Experience using a vehicle tablet is a plus.
• Flexible schedules and routes.
• Neat and organized, able to work independently.
• Physical: lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices according to procedures.
• Maintain the vehicle and equipment in clean condition.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip information and times.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office.
