The Village of Ridgewood, Bergen County, is accepting applications for a part-time (maximum 20 hours per week) bus driver to operate our Senior Bus, which transports older residents to and from appointments, the supermarket, the mall, and local programs and events.

• Schedule: Part-time hours (typically Tuesday through Thursday, mornings and afternoons)
• Start Date: Immediate opening

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Village-owned senior citizen bus on designated routes
• Assist seniors on and off the vehicle as needed
• Ensure a clean and comfortable travel experience
• Maintain a punctual and reliable schedule
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement
• Patience, courtesy and a caring attitude
• Ability to assist elderly passengers with mobility challenges
