Job summary

Bevara Building Services is seeking a dedicated Part‑Time Building Engineer for our Williston, ND site. The role focuses on maintaining the property’s physical condition, safeguarding assets, and providing world‑class service at the medical office building.

The ideal candidate is proactive, self‑motivated, and versatile—a true jack of all trades, with 3–5 years of relevant experience and solid knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. OSHA safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial building operations and engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones (email, texts, work order systems).
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders, and work within tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to service requests for interior and exterior building equipment.
• Manage work order requests related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Proactively maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors, overseeing check‑in/out and escorting them to work areas.
• Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
• Ensure a safe job site and adherence to safety standards.
• Operate with professionalism aligned to company values.
