Job summary

Bevara is seeking a dedicated part-time Building Engineer to maintain our Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg properties, roughly 10–12 hours per week on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate is proactive, versatile, and capable of handling multiple trades with minimal supervision while upholding Bevara's standards.

You will conduct regular assessments of building systems, perform minor repairs, manage work orders for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety, coordinate vendor check-in/out, document

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial building operations and engineering.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Current and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of building systems.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on interior and exterior equipment.
• Manage work orders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
• Maintain an ongoing task list for the property management team.
• Coordinate vendor check-in/out and document completed work.
• Assist with fire panel and extinguisher inspections.
• Ensure a safe job site and comply with safety standards.
• Present a professional image aligned with company values.
