Job summary

NFL is seeking a TOC Operator to support broadcast operations across live and remote productions, ensuring feed integrity and broadcast specifications are met. The role collaborates with NFL Media Production, Newsroom, NFL Films, and club technical teams to manage content delivery and troubleshooting during live events.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in broadcast operations, strong knowledge of SMPTE 2110, 2110, HD/SD, and signal routing, with excellent written and oral communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a broadcast operations environment including 2110, HD/SD, ASI, JPEG and MPLS signals and the ability to troubleshoot those signal paths.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and operation of broadcast routing systems and read waveform monitors.
• Read audio meters and understand signal flows (analog, digital, SMPTE 2110).
• Perform Sync and Fax checks prior to live shows and extensive transmission checks for live remote events.
• Generate broadcast reports and document on-air issues; communicate clearly with Operations and Production Management.
