Job summary

TruStone Financial Credit Union in Brooklyn Park, MN is hiring for a part-time member service role at our Brooklyn Park branch. You will welcome members, provide friendly service, meet branch goals, and help cross-sell financial products while following policy.

The position requires availability Monday–Friday 8:15am–5:45pm and Saturdays 8:45am–1:15pm, 20 hours per week. A high school diploma or equivalent, one year of customer service and cash handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience interacting with the public or serving customers.
• One year of cash handling experience, preferred.
• Previous sales experience or strong interest in sales, preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
• Good decision-making skills and judgement.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members into the branch and provide friendly, helpful service that promotes a positive financial well-being.
• Meet established Credit Union and Branch goals for internal and external sales to existing and potential members.
• Cross-sell financial products and services to deepen relationships and branch growth.
• Accurately and efficiently process a variety of routine financial inquiries, transactions, and service requests.
• Secure credit union assets, balance transactions, and complete necessary reports.
