Grainger in New York is seeking a Branch Sales Associate for a part-time role (~20+ hrs/wk) on the 1st shift (M-F). You will assist walk-in customers, help with product selection, enter orders, and prepare will-call shipments while supporting warehouse tasks and keeping the showroom tidy.

Ideal candidates are flexible to branch hours, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable navigating multiple computer systems.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting walk-in customers and processing orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Willingness to perform warehouse tasks and showroom replenishment.
• Flexibility to work part-time, M-F, 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer experience from product selection to order entry and loading customer vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products.
• Perform inventory counts and housekeeping to Grainger standards.
