Grainger is seeking a Branch Sales Associate (part-time) in South Plainfield, NJ. The role is onsite, ~20 hours per week, with a first shift, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include assisting walk-in customers, processing orders, warehousing tasks, and maintaining showroom standards.

• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, picking and loading customer vehicle.
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication to different audiences via email, phone, or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping product.
• Prepare customer backorders and stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and navigate computer systems for tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance and safety compliance.
