Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred
• BLS required
• Medication Aide 40 required within 6 months of hiring

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and reinforce provider recommendations using the AIDET process.
• Administer injections/immunizations as prescribed.
• Record visit data in EHR and manage patient information such as vital signs and histories.
• Track lab and procedure orders and communicate results to the healthcare team.
• Prepare supplies and ensure rooms are sterile and safe for procedures.
• Coordinate patient education plans with family/guardians.
• Complete and document patient phone calls and follow-up communications.
