Job summary

Great Plains Health is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse for the Brain & Spine team in North Platte, NE. Responsibilities include triaging calls, obtaining vital signs, reviewing histories, and ensuring complete medical records before physician visits.

The RN will assist with in-office procedures, manage samples, and document care in the EMR. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license (state/compact), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by area.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and reinforce provider recommendations using the AIDET process.
• Record vitals, ROS, med lists in the EMR; perform point of care testing.
• Assist with in-office procedures and administer samples per nursing techniques.
• Triages patient calls and manages medication requests as directed.
• Maintain supply availability and ensure rooms are sterile and ready.
