Job summary

A-lumination Electric is seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper in Altamonte Springs, FL. This in-office role is around 18-20 hours per week with flexible days and hours, providing support for invoices, payments, expenses, payroll, and basic financial reporting.

You will work with the owner and outside accountant, ensuring accurate and timely records. Prior experience with QuickBooks Desktop and attention to detail are important in this busy, growing electrical contracting company.

Qualifications

• Experience using QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own time.

• Experience working with contractors or small businesses.

Responsibilities

• Keep our books up to date – recording invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Assist with payroll and make sure things are recorded correctly.
• Prepare simple financial reports so we know where things stand.
• Work with our owner and outside accountant for taxes and end-of-year reports.
