Job summary

Books-A-Million in Auburn Hills, MI (2nd & Charles) is seeking a part-time associate to work on the sales floor and at the register, helping customers find books and gifts while sharing a love of reading.

Reporting to store leadership, you’ll maintain welcoming displays, assist with buyback, and support inventory and other departments in a fast-paced retail setting. Prior retail or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the sales floor and at the register, delivering friendly service.
• Highlight products, answer questions, and help customers find books and items.
• Keep displays neat and organized, follow merchandising guidelines and assist with stock.
• Support other departments as needed in a fast-paced retail environment.
