Job summary

Scholastic is seeking a part-time seasonal Warehouse Order Picker in Clinton, MA to support book fair preparation for schools. You will pack, pick, and prepare merchandise with attention to safety and quality, contributing to a positive shopping experience for students and families.

You will work a consistent 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift Monday through Friday, enjoy benefits such as major holidays, and a 401k plan. This role emphasizes productivity, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing book fairs according to procedures and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for cases, boxes, and displays.
• Meet minimum production, accuracy, or quality standards.
• Ensure outbound merchandise is clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs according to procedures and standards.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper packing.
• Learn basic scanner proficiency for inquiries and replenishment.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Maintain a neat, safe, organized work area.
