Job summary

Scholastic is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Warehouse Order Picker/Parker in Clinton, MA. You'll help prepare book fairs by packing and selecting product, with a schedule 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Base pay is $18.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift premium for eligible hours (2 PM–6 AM). This role supports seasonal peaks and includes benefits like holidays and discount opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to read safety rules in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of book fairs by packing cases and displays.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing all components and sub-components for cases and displays.
• Meet productivity and quality standards for the work performed.
• Ensure outbound cases, boxes, and displays are clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs, by unpacking cases and displays with book and non-book product.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure book fairs can be properly packed.
• Learn and demonstrate basic scanner proficiency for replenishment of Pick locations.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Participate in seasonal inventory production-line resets.
