Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician in Cheyenne, WY, for a part-time shift Mon-Fri 1:00pm-6:00pm with on-call rotation. You will manage the inventory of blood products and coordinate packaging and shipment to local hospitals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of customer service experience.
• Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products.
• During On-Call hours, you might get called to fulfill a STAT or ASAP order and contact the courier.
• Communicate with hospital customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
• Use attention to detail when processing orders, entering inventory and data for orders to be shipped/received.
• Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
• Monitor storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.
• Presently, role does not drive, may change; may need to drive to local hospitals.
• Lift up to 40lbs.
