Job summary

Vitalant in Neptune, NJ is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician to manage the inventory of blood and blood products and to package and ship to local hospitals and patients. You will support Vitalant's mission by ensuring accurate order fulfilment and timely shipments.

Starting pay is $20.10 per hour with a Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm schedule. Benefits include health, 401K, tuition assistance, and more. Located at 2441 Fortunato Place, Neptune, NJ 07753.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• Six months of customer service experience required.
• Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products.
• Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
• Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
• Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.
