Job summary

Trinity Nexus in Austin, TX is seeking a Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Associate for a part-time, 1099 role. You will open doors and create opportunities while leadership handles proposals, negotiations, and closing.

Expect an hourly wage of $17–$21 with commission, a flexible schedule up to 80 billable hours per month, and the chance to build your professional network across Austin’s business community.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with founders, executives, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers in Austin
• Attend local business events, conferences, and networking opportunities
• Identify growing companies for strategic partnerships
• Initiate outreach via LinkedIn, email, referrals, networking, introductions
• Make meaningful introductions leading to qualified meetings with leadership
• Develop long-term referral/partnership opportunities
• Maintain an organized pipeline and follow-up consistently
• Suggest ideas to expand visibility and networks and generate new business
