Job summary

Pest Hunters / Humbug Holiday Lighting of Central Austin – Round Rock – Pflugerville is seeking a part-time Business Development Specialist to drive new recurring revenue through professional networking and strategic outreach.

This field-based role offers a clear path to full-time as the company grows, with 20–25 hours per week and flexible work-from-home options in the Central Austin area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend networking groups and business associations (BNI, Austin & Round Rock Chambers) on behalf of both brands.
• Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, apartments, and commercial properties.
• Build referral partnerships with real estate, landscapers, and local businesses.
• Conduct in-person meetings, present proposals, and secure recurring contracts.
• Promote Humbug Holiday/Permanent Lighting services and upsell to Pest Hunters clients.
• Track pipeline in CRM and coordinate onboarding with operations.
