Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biotechnology or a related field with two years of industry experience.
• Ten years of pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience with credentials in the field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver biotechnology and workforce training instruction in classroom, laboratory, hybrid, and customized formats using competency-based teaching methods.
• Develop, maintain, and update curriculum, instructional materials, labs, and course resources to align with learning outcomes and industry standards.
• Assess student learning and support success through evaluation, feedback, advising, and accurate grade/attendance records.
• Ensure safe and compliant learning environments by adhering to laboratory safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Provide program leadership and coordination, including supporting instructors, maintaining documentation, participating in assessment, and driving improvements.
• Build and sustain industry partnerships while monitoring workforce trends to align training with employer needs.
• Contribute to institutional effectiveness through committee work, professional development, grant activities, and service to the college community.
