Job summary

Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts is seeking a part-time Laboratory Technician to support the preparation, cleanup, and organization of teaching labs in the Biology department.

The role is 7.5 hours per week through December 19, 2026, with scheduling options of 1 day for 7.5 hours or 2 days with 3.75 hours per day. Salary is $32.08 per hour, and visa sponsorship is not available. ADA accommodations are provided upon request.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience in stock solutions preparation preferred.
• College-level lab prep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares culture media and chemical solution stocks following standard procedures.
• Sets up laboratory equipment per prep notes.
• Cleans and organizes equipment and supplies after labs.
• Cleans glassware and sterilizes biological waste.
• Resets lab exercises between sections as needed.
