Nature of Duties: Under general supervision, prepares various test specimens and growth media for use in biology, chemistry, or related science labs. Prepares chemical solutions for lab experiments, sets up equipment, ensures proper operation, and reports deficiencies. Cleans lab facilities and equipment after lab exercises, breaks down and stores supplies, and maintains compliance with safety practices. Maintains chemical inventory, including storage, disposal, and record-keeping, and assists with record keeping, copying, and filing. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of at least one of the following with a minimum grade of "B" in the lab portion:
Strong computer application skills are required.

Salary/Benefits: $15/hour. Part-time, with no state benefits.
