Job summary

Penn E&R, Inc. in Doylestown, PA, is seeking a part-time Billing Specialist (Temporary) to support the revenue cycle by preparing invoices, maintaining records, and resolving discrepancies. Hybrid work is available after training, with 10–20 hours per week for about 6 months.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines, with strong Excel and ERP/billing system skills; Oracle experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance operations, or similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting, ERP, or billing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and in accordance with policies.
• Verify billing data by reviewing supporting documentation, pricing, and account details.
• Research, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies and invoice-related questions.
• Maintain complete and accurate billing records and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
• Process billing adjustments, credit memos, rebills, and account updates as needed.
• Monitor account status, aging information, and payment activity to identify overdue balances.
• Collaborate with Billing Admins and Project Managers to improve billing accuracy.
• Support month-end/period-end close activities with billing reports and reconciliations.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, terms, and history in a timely manner.
