Job summary

PLS Logistics Service in Houston, TX, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a part-time role. The CSR acts as the face of PLS, delivering exceptional service, educating customers on products, and ensuring transactions comply with regulations.

The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience across hospitality, retail, or financial services, strong communication, and the ability to handle cash with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in hospitality, financial services, retail or restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to engage with customers and offer products based on their needs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be honest and have integrity.
• Able to work flexible hours including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• English fluency required; English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business

• Ensuring all transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations

• Maintaining a balanced cash drawer
• Completing transactions accurately, including cash handling
• Using our point-of-sale system to access information and process transactions
• Resolving customer complaints or referring complaints to the Store Manager for resolution
• Helping to maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and team members
• Performing other duties as instructed by management
