Crossroads Safehouse is seeking a Part Time Bilingual Advocate to provide crisis intervention and support, particularly for Spanish-speaking clients. This role offers an hourly wage of $19.50 with opportunities for benefits as a full-time employee, including health insurance and vacation time.
The Crossroads Safehouse Part Time Bilingual Advocate provides crisis intervention, information, referrals, advocacy, and emotional support by phone and in-person communication to residential and non-residential clients with an emphasis on Spanish monolingual and Spanish bilingual clients.
Supervision Received and Exercised: Reports to and receives supervision from the Direct Service Manager. The position exercises no supervision.
Hours, Wages, and Benefits: $19.50 an hour with a .50 increase after six months
Benefits and Company Culture:
A full-time employee (32 hours or more weekly) is eligible for insurance and Vacation benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Benefits include:• Health, Dental & Vision insurance 50% company paid• Short-term Disability, Life, AD&D; 100% company paid• Vacation: 3 weeks/year (for up to 5 years of service)• Sick Leave: 80 hours per year (waiting period does not apply)• Holidays: 14 per year
