We are looking for an individual to join our team at Advocate Art as our Trainee Artist Representative / Artist Agent. If you have experience in Publishing or Sales, we can offer an increased package.

This position is ideal for individuals looking to enter the creative industry at an entry level, whether they are recent graduates or with transferable skills, and have a strong passion for illustration. We offer a comprehensive training package which covers sales training, artist briefing and development, project management, and creative trend awareness. You will be using all of those skills and more as an Advocate Agent!

This role is fully remote - which means you can work from home, or anywhere, but we are looking for an individual based in the US. Currently, we have base offices within the US and UK where our teams meet casually.

An Illustration Agent is the middle person between illustrators and clients so you work with the

Advocate Art artists to develop & create marketable/saleable work, make the connection between artist and client, and ensure everything works out during the project. There is an existing group of clients that you will look after following training, and there is a degree of new business development. In a nutshell, it's a creative sales role.

The Trainee Artist Agent starting salary is $44K++ with OTE $75K ++ depending on experience and after training.

We offer full training in a casual virtual environment. Expenses are paid to travel - World Wide, London, Italy etc. or if you need a face-to-face meet-up. We offer a bonus scheme to prove that we reward success and hard work alongside great healthcare plans.

Working hours for this position is Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Interviews will be held online on an ongoing basis.

- Creative - a good eye.

- Good communicator, able to rebut, sell, empathize and negotiate.

- Multi-task individually or as part of a team.

- Be comfortable traveling alone and possibly over multiple weekends.

- Mac and social media savvy.

- Highly organized.

- Generally brilliant and making things happen on your own.
