Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking part-time substitute teachers in Indiana who demonstrate a mature Christian faith and strong communication skills. The role requires active church participation and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching LifeWise students.

You will complete substitute teacher training, deliver LifeWise lessons, maintain a safe classroom, follow discipline policies, and communicate with the lead teacher and volunteers to support students.

Qualifications

• Must have a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
• Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain attendance records and report to teachers
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and teachers
• Represent LifeWise Academy in the community
