Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise teacher for grades 6-12. The role emphasizes strong Bible knowledge, engaging instruction, and active church involvement.

You will implement LifeWise curriculum, build relationships with students, and collaborate with staff to support spiritual growth in a school/church context. Qualifications include at least two years of teaching and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs, plus active church participation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map lessons accordingly.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and rosters with health notes and permissions.
• Keep the classroom organized, safe, and age-appropriate with redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with school staff, volunteers, and program director about schedules and updates.
