Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time Bible teacher for grades 6-12 who demonstrates strong teaching abilities and effective communication with students. The ideal candidate is an active church participant and committed to LifeWise’s faith-based approach.

The role requires at least two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith. Opportunities include ongoing training and community engagement within LifeWise's network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map lesson plans, applying policies and building relationships with students.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and parent permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment and manage emergency procedures with redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with the program director, school personnel, and volunteers; promote LifeWise's religious mission.
