Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is seeking a part-time life science teacher with strong Bible knowledge to serve grades 6-12. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, committed teaching approach.

The role includes completing required training, teaching LifeWise classes with provided curriculum, maintaining attendance and rosters, and collaborating with school staff and volunteers to promote spiritual growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active personal Christian faith and alignment with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church with aligned doctrine.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed while applying policies and resources.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes.
